Gurkha Nepalese Community

Everybody welcome to this site which is of an organisation called Gurkha Nepalese Community and is organised by all the Nepalese living in East Midlands(Derbyshire mainly) For  this association we have  named our chairman, vice-chairman, others and will be soon displayed. We recently had a New Year party on 30th of December 2006 which was very successful. Everybody enjoyed it.  There were also few guests(English People) who enjoyed a lot in that party. We had programs organised by the assoication.

The new logo of this Gurkha Nepalese Association will be on the webpage soon. We hope we will have lots of great entertainers and the perfomers in the near fututre for the Party and hope our next party will be more sucessful than in the past.

Year 2006 was a good year. We are looking forward to 2007. We are planning to celebrate the Nepali New year 2064 B.S. which is in April 2007. We are also planning a weekend (camping) in the Peak District. Some members of our Association are also going to visit Nepal. Latest News

Today we went to Rememberance Sunday.

We visited Derby today as a guest of the council. Five retired Gurkhas and their families. We layed a reef on the Memorial statue. The parade was very good but the weather was not. We went round one of the Gurkhas house and had noodle soup and coffee. It was Majic.

 

We had a party at Prem Malla's house. The food was excellent and everybody enjoyed themselves. Looking forward to the next one soon.

 

The picnic was a good success on the 9th of August. but it rained and we all went to the pub.

 

Now we are going to change the website of our community. It is under construction. It will soon be updated on this webpage.

  

 

Smiler and his family are going back to Nepal at the end of Feburary this year.

 

We are having a Nepalese New Year Party on 13th April 2008. If you wish to some to the party then you can contact us. 

 

We have had the Dashain Party at the Jamaican Centre. It was very good.

 

We have just visited Southhall, London for 3 Days. And stopped by in Nepalese relatives.
